Description
Vintage hand-blown Murano/Venetian art glass freeform bowl or ashtray featuring a rich cranberry-red body with elaborate multicolor interior decoration.
The design incorporates swirling white latticino/zanfirico ribbon work, colorful glass canes in blue, pink, green and yellow, and shimmering metallic aventurine inclusions. The sculptural freeform shape and heavy glass construction are characteristic of mid-century Murano decorative glass.
Likely dating to the 1950s–1960s. No maker label or signature is visible in the provided photo, so it is being attributed to Murano/Venetian production rather than to a specific glasshouse.
Please review photos for exact condition and any surface wear, base wear, chips or fleabites.
