Description
Beautiful large cut crystal pedestal bowl featuring a rich cobalt blue overlay with cut-to-clear decoration. The bowl has a wide band of intricate diamond-pattern cutting through the center, accented by bold vertical and spear-form cuts that reveal the clear crystal beneath the deep blue surface.
The substantial clear crystal pedestal terminates in a heavy square foot decorated with an elaborate deep-cut starburst design on the underside. The combination of cobalt blue and brilliant clear crystal gives the piece excellent color, sparkle, and presence.
This is an unsigned example, so no specific maker is attributed. The design and workmanship are consistent with traditional Bohemian/Czech-style cut crystal.
An impressive centerpiece suitable for use as a decorative bowl, fruit bowl, compote, or display piece.
Condition: Pre-owned with normal signs of age and handling. Please review photos for condition and details. No maker’s mark or signature found.
