Our Glayden style Modern Slanted Post Leg Style Table is available with a 1” solid wood top or 2” solid wood top.
most of our customization options are included in our pricing. Our prices are based on leg style and size.. we do have a charges for a 2 inch top vs 1” top.. a 2” top is $400 more up to 96” after 96” the 2” top price does in increase more than $400 depending on the length and width.
Dining tables can be custom widths without and Increase in price depending on the desired width and length.
We also have a $100 charge for a painted table base, if ordering a bench the $100 up charge covers the table and bench)

We put a lot of information in writing on our website so our customers know exactly what to expect. When shopping for furniture, houses or cars, surprises aren’t what anyone wants! Therefore we put more information than needed at times!
At The Wooden Whale Workshop, each dining table is custom built by us and designed by you, making each table unique.
All of our indoor dining tables are made from solid wood. They are solid wood from top to bottom, we do it use veneers on the base bases, frames or table tops.
You can place your order through our website and we will send you our Custom Order Worksheet. (It asks more questions about the details you'd like for your table and provides pictures to help you answer, so that we can custom build a table just for you.
You can also fill out our custom order form, then we will send you the pricing and go over the details. If you would like us to add you to our order list, after all of your questions are answered, we can add you to the list and we don’t require any type of payment until pick up, delivery or we send invoices prior to shipping on our website! However you would like to proceed with you order works for us!
We actually prefer not to take any type of down payment, we prefer pit our customers pay on pick up delivery or prior to shipping, we do realize some customers like to pay ahead of time, which is no problem at all, so feel free to pay on the website ahead of time if you’d like!!
If your local and would like to make an appointment to see things in person, we do Shop appointments Monday through Friday 8 to 4, and on weekends/evening as well. If you would like to make an appointment, just let us know what days/times work for you and we can let you know that it works for us to!
If you are unable to make it to the shop, we have many customers who do everything through email text message or by phone! Whatever works for you works for us too!

Because we custom build our tables and because we always have a wait list, our turnaround time is about 8-12 weeks, but that can vary depending on the number of orders we have at the time. If you have a specific deadline, be sure to let us know as soon as possible and we'll do whatever we can to work it out. We also have tables in stock in our READY TO SHIP section.
Delivery
- Delivery is available to Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
- Delivery to most Pittsburgh addresses is $150.
Pickup
- We are located in Freeport, PA & pick up is available from our workshop.
